These terms govern your use of the IFTA Tracker iOS application ("IFTA Tracker", "the app"). By using IFTA Tracker you agree to them.
IFTA Tracker is a recordkeeping tool for commercial drivers. It helps you create and maintain records of overnight travel, expenses, and mileage that may support tax deductions and regulatory filings.
IFTA Tracker does not provide tax, legal, or accounting advice. Figures shown in the app (including "potential deduction" amounts) are calculations at published per-diem rates applied to records you confirm — they are not a promise that any deduction applies to you, will be accepted by any tax authority, or will result in any refund or savings. Decisions about what to claim are yours and your tax professional's. IFTA figures are estimates to assist preparation; file with your jurisdiction's current rates.
You confirm every day record; automation only drafts them. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you confirm, edit, or backfill. Keep your own backups of exported records where required by law or your carrier agreements.
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use IFTA Tracker on Apple devices you own or control, per the App Store terms. You may not reverse engineer, resell, or misuse the app.
Automatic day detection requires location permission and works best with "Always" access. You can use IFTA Tracker fully in manual mode without location. You are responsible for complying with all traffic laws — IFTA Tracker is designed to require no interaction while driving, and you must not interact with it while operating a vehicle.
IFTA Tracker is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, and our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost data, or outcomes of tax filings or audits.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
You can stop using IFTA Tracker at any time; deleting the app deletes its on-device data. We may terminate the license if you materially breach these terms.
We may update these terms; the effective date above will change and material updates will be noted in the app. Continued use after changes is acceptance.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Virginia, USA, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Virginia, unless applicable law provides otherwise.
